If you purchase products through our Website, additional terms and conditions will relate to the purchase. Please make sure you agree with these terms and conditions, which you will be directed to read prior to making your purchase.

Definitions

Services means the provision of professional pest control information, subscription to Professional Pest Manager offerings and advertising options on the website.

Website means the website www.professionalpestmanager.com.

We/Us ­means BD Publications Pty Ltd (incorporating Professional Pest Manager and Bug Doctor Media) and any subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, agents or assigns.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Passwords and logins

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords and login details and for all activities carried out under your password and login.

We do not record your password information. However, we can reset your password if requested, allowing you to set a new one.

Payment security

Credit card details must be entered when purchasing a paid subscription. We are unable to access your credit card details as payments are made through Stripe payment services, which has been certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available to the payments industry.

We do not take credit card payments over the phone.

Subscription renewal

Free subscriptions are lifetime subscriptions and do not need renewal.

Paid subscriptions will automatically be renewed on the anniversary of the initial subscription.

Paid subscribers will receive two reminders (two weeks before renewal and one week before renewal) informing them that their subscription will be automatically renewed and that if they want to change their credit card details or cancel their subscription, that they should log into their account and make the necessary changes.

For those whose subscription expires (either through cancellation or failure to have valid credit card details), they will receive a reminder one day after the event to check whether the cancellation was intentional.

Failed payments

If the automatic payment of funds fails (normally due to an expired credit card), subscribers will receive notification that payment has failed and that they should check/update their credit card details.

Payment will be tried up to four times over a three-week period. If after this time the payment has been unsuccessful, the subscription will be cancelled and the subscriber will receive an email to check whether this was their intention.

Updating credit card details

If the credit card used for the subscription will be out of date before the next subscription renewal, reminders will be sent to subscribers (four weeks and one week before the subscription renewal) to remind them to update their credit card details or the subscription will lapse.

Changing subscriptions

Subscribers can upgrade to a higher subscription at any time by logging in and selecting the new subscription from the Subscription page. If the new subscription involves the delivery of a printed magazine, subscriber will receive the next issue of the magazine, as long as the subscription upgrade occurs at least 2 weeks before publication date.

Subscribers can downgrade to a lower subscription, but no refund will be given. The lower membership will be free for the remainder of the original subscription period and the subscription will drop to the lower rate at the start of the next subscription period.

Cancellation of subscriptions

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but no refunds are provided. The benefits of the cancelled subscription will continue until the end of the subscription period when the subscription will revert to a free subscription unless otherwise requested

We have taken proper care and precautions to ensure that the information we provide on this Website is accurate. However, we cannot guarantee, nor do we accept any legal liability arising from or connected to, the accuracy, reliability, currency or completeness of anything contained on this Website or on any linked site.

Companies can book advertising on various pages of the website. These adverts may be shown nationally or regionally depending on the booking.

Advertising bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis and in the case of high demand we reserve the right to limit the duration of a booking to allow equal access.

On pages where adverts may be shown in rotation, the order of display will be randomised.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring their adverts comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse to display ads that we deem to be inappropriate or which may potentially compromise the integrity of Professional Pest Manager.

Pest Control Company Locator

As part of the full membership subscription, subscribers are entitled to one free listing on the Pest Control Company Locator on the Professional Pest Manager website.

The company listing will appear when anyone searches within a 25 km radius of the suburb in which the pest control company is located.

The order of search results is randomised.

Business that operate over a larger area can purchase additional listings, for example in multiple cities or in multiple towns within a region.

We hold the copyright to the content of this Website, including all uploaded files, layout design, data, graphics, articles, file content, codes, news, tutorials, videos, reviews, forum posts and databases contained on the Website or in connection with the Services. You must not use or replicate our copyright material other than as permitted by law. Specifically, you must not use or replicate our copyright material for commercial purposes unless expressly agreed to by Us, in which case we may require you to sign a Licence Agreement.
